CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility 2025:
- Senior Secondary
10+2 with at least 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year
of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). OR
- Senior Secondary
10+2 with at least 45% marks, and passed or appearing in the final
year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the
NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR
- Senior Secondary
10+2 with at least 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final
year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Graduation with at
least 50% marks, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). (Candidates with a
B.Ed. qualification must complete a 6-month Bridge Course in Primary
Teacher Education recognized by NCTE, within two years of appointment as
a primary teacher.)
- Relaxation:
Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD, etc.) are
generally given a relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility
2025:
- Graduation and
passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary
Education (D.El.Ed.). OR
- Graduation with at
least 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year of a Bachelor
in Education (B.Ed.). OR
- Graduation with at
least 45% marks, and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
(B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to
time. OR
- Senior Secondary
(or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, and
passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or
B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Relaxation:
Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD, etc.) are
generally given a relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks.

- STEP 2: Go
to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
- STEP 3: Fill
in the Online Application Form and note down Registration
No./Application No.
- STEP 4: Upload
latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
- STEP 5: Pay
Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
- STEP 6: Print
Confirmation page for record and future reference.
